36 Comfort Foods for the Winter

Nothing’s better in the cold winter season than food that will warm your entire body and soul. Here are some yummy comfort foods that you NEED to try!

Hey, friends!

We just got 16 inches of snow here, which is the most we’ve gotten in recent history. This has confined us to our house and given me an excuse to do more cooking! You should’ve seen our Walmart the night before the storm! You’d think the apocalypse was happening LOL!

We’ve got the heat up, the sweaters on, and are ready to sit back and enjoy a movie or book.

In my years of life, I’m always drawn to those comfort foods in these Fall and Winter seasons. I’ve got to watch myself sometimes, because it’s very very easy for me to go overboard (does anybody else know what I’m talking bout??)

Is it just me or does everyone have their “go to” comfort food for the perfect moment? I personally always go for some cheesy potato wedges (OMG even typing this makes me hungry). My hubby likes the deep fried cookie dough (#1 on the list!).

What’s yours? Let me know in the comments and I’ll try it out!

Whether you partake yourself or if this is for your hubby and kids, these are our FAVORITE comfort food recipes for a time such as this.
